Summer 2024

I've been involved in the Octavia Project since its founding ten years ago, and have been incredibly proud to serve as the first Chair of the Advisory Board for the past two and a half years. To me the OP represents community, solidarity, empowerment, joy, safety, learning, and most of all hope for our collective future. I never feel more hopeful than when I sit in a workshop or showcase event and see what young people are capable of when given the space and the structure to learn together and from each other. I hope you can find a way to support my goal this year as the youth of the OP need our help to make this summer happen.
