#OneTeam for Kenya

Our Brighton Jones team is dedicated to being an ally to our friends in Kenya. We committed to being advocates and a source of support for GRACE Nanana (http://www.helgakajiado.org/), Ruben Centre (https://www.rubencentre.org/), and Kajiado Child Care Centre (https://aickajiadochildcare.org/) back in 2017. These organizations are reeling from multiple challenges, including continued repercussions of COVID-19, a struggling economy, severe inflation which has doubled the price of food, less support from international donors, and a steep increase in the demand from the vulnerable communities they aim to serve. On top of that, climate change has resulted in more severe and prolonged drought, lowering the water table, threatening their agricultural livelihoods, and forcing them to purchase water. Now, as they navigate through these incredible challenges, we're stepping up in a big way. We want to raise $500,000 as a team by 11/15/2022.
