#OneTeam for Kenya

Since 2016, the Brighton Jones team has been a committed advocate and source of support for three fantastic organizations in Kenya serving vulnerable children and their families:

1. - GRACE Nanana, a girls education and rescue center, 
2. - Kajiado Child Care Centre, a rehabilitation facility for children with physical disabilities, and 
3. - The Ruben Centre, providing quality education, health, financial and social services to children and families in the Mukuru community. 

Gretchen and I have traveled to Kenya several times with clients and family, most recently in August 2022, and we are always blown away by the incredible leadership and perseverance in each of these schools, the unshakable feeling that they are absolutely serving a need and lifting up their communities, and that we want to and can do more to help.  The pandemic coupled with the effects of a climate-induced drought have impacted their daily lives and health, as well as their access to funding.  For this reason, we have mobilized the entire Brighton Jones community (we call this our #OneTeam) in a call to action to be a global citizen and help our community in Kenya.

To us, this fundraiser represents more than just giving, it represents Compassion, Community, Curiosity, Collaboration, Commitment and Continuous Growth, which happen to be the foundational pillars that Brighton Jones is built on.

Together our #OneTeam will raise $500,000 as a team by November 15th.  As a family, we have a goal of raising $200,000 in addition to that #OneTeam goal.
