My Story

Hi, I'm Maria Matos, and I'm walking the runway this April 29th as a model in Ann's Place's 2026 Fashion Show,  not for fashion, but for something much more important.

Ann's Place is a remarkable organization based in Danbury, CT that provides free support services and programs to individuals and families facing cancer. They show up for people on their hardest days, and I believe that's worth fighting for.

As a community advocate, an immigrant, and a mother, I have built my life around showing up for others. I know what it means to navigate difficult systems without enough support. Cancer doesn't just affect the body, it affects families, finances, and futures. Ann's Place helps fill that gap, and your donation makes that possible.

I am honored to be part of this year's model lineup alongside an incredible group of community members who all believe in this mission. Together, we want to shine a light on the people who need us most.
