Help Father René in the Ecuadorian Amazon

We appeal to your generosity to help our friend, Father René, who is a parish priest in the Ecuadorian Amazon.

Father René welcomes the Order of Saint Elijah and the Omnes Gentes missionaries in his parish, where we have been missioning for the past four years.

A few weeks ago, Father René’s vehicle broke down beyond repair.

Since then, it has become extremely difficult for him to visit the sixty communities entrusted to his care.

We want to help Father René purchase a reliable 4x4 so that he can continue proclaiming the Gospel, celebrating the sacraments, and serving the faithful in Amazonia.

A vehicle capable of withstanding the demanding conditions of the Amazon and transporting people and supplies needed for the mission, costs approximately $45,000.

Every contribution, regardless of its size, will directly support this important missionary work.

Les pedimos su generosidad para ayudar a nuestro amigo, el Padre René Miguel Murillo, en la Amazonía ecuatoriana.

El Padre René recibe a los misioneros de la Orden de San Elías y de Omnes Gentes en su parroquia, donde hemos estado visitando durante los últimos cuatro años.

Hace unas semanas, el auto del Padre René se rompio. Desde entonces, no ha podido visitar las 60 comunidades a su cargo.

Hace algunas semanas, el vehículo del Padre René sufrió una avería irreparable. Desde entonces, le resulta muy difícil visitar las sesenta comunidades que tiene a su cargo.

Queremos ayudar al Padre René a adquirir un vehículo 4x4 para que pueda seguir anunciando el Evangelio, celebrar los sacramentos y acompañar a los fieles que viven dispersos en este amplio territorio.

Un vehículo confiable, capaz de soportar las exigentes condiciones de la Amazonía y de transportar personas y materiales para la misión, cuesta aproximadamente 45.000 dólares.
