Breaking Bread & Barriers- A Service Project

PROJECT: Breaking Bread and Barriers Service Project

Working with our brothers and sisters in the inner city is an imperative. We will serve healthy, organic, halal food to those in some of the poorest parts of the city. This project will include the following;

Helping prepare food for 150 people in need (Meeting at Cornerstone Community Shelter- 4628 N Clifton Ave, Chicago, IL 60640
Funding the purchase of the food on a monthly basis
Supporting local Muslims to lead, direct, and run the distribution.

Service in the Pandemic: Working with our local team to deliver individually packaged meals and abiding by the necessary health precautions in serving local shelters and community centers.
