The Ted & Anne O'Rourke Scholarship

Ted always enjoyed watching his son play in events but more importantly, he enjoyed the camaraderie between the other players. For many years, he would go to Section tournaments and watch New England PGA Professionals like Mickey Herron, Paul Parajeckas, Dana Quigley, Kirk Hanefeld, and Paul Barkhouse. Hanging out with Buddy Young after an event always brought a smile to his face. He had the knack of making everyone feel that he was their best friend, even if he had just met you for the first time.

It’s in this way, we are pleased to pay that feeling forward, sharing the joy that the NEPGA brought to his life, by giving to the children, grandchildren and stepchildren of NEPGA Members.
