O’nr filed its 1023 application on November 4, 2024, seeking nonprofit status as a 501c3 public charity but has not yet received its Tax Determination Letter. Per the IRS, if O’nr ultimately qualifies for exemption as of its effective date of November 4, 2024, your deduction will be tax deductible. However, if the IRS rejects or delays our application, then your gift may not be deductible on your tax return. We will promptly advise you if O’nr’s application is rejected or if we expect any delays. We advise you to consult your tax advisor as to how best to treat your gift in your 2025 tax return.
