Team NYUL 2025 TCS New York City Marathon

I am excited to share that on November 2nd, I’ll be running the 2025 New York City Marathon on behalf of the New York Urban League! 

Last October, I completed my first marathon, running the Chicago Marathon with Team Resilience in support of Erika’s Lighthouse, an organization dedicated to raising awareness about teen depression and mental health. Connecting my miles to a cause I deeply believe in was incredibly meaningful and motivating.

Now, I’m excited to take on the challenge of running a marathon again, this time in partnership with another inspiring and impactful organization, the New York Urban League. I'm honored to support their mission and proud to represent them during the race.

The New York Urban League empowers underserved communities by advancing access to a first-class education, fostering economic self-reliance, and securing equal respect for civil rights. Their work spans advocacy, scholarships, small business support, and a wide range of community programs. I’ve been inspired by their mission and am grateful for the opportunity to connect with some of the passionate individuals behind it.

In my work in climate resilience, I engage directly with communities to address climate risks and promote equity through inclusive, community-driven planning. Being part of initiatives that center environmental justice and advance equitable solutions to climate challenges is something I truly care about. That's why I'm proud to support NYUL, an organization committed to supporting and empowering individuals, families, and communities.
