District 13 lost a key federal grant and our ability to pay teachers for their participation in Teach Fabulous! is jeopardized. Stipends make it possible for public school teachers to devote time and heart to the training—and we don’t want finances to be a barrier.

Please consider sponsoring one Teach Fabulous! cohort member for $250.

Your sponsorship directly supports a teacher to:

  • Participate in our six-session professional learning series.

  • Gain tools to affirm LGBTQ+ students and interrupt bias in real time.

  • Build a community of care, joy, and advocacy across our schools.

Why Teach Fabulous! matters:

  • LGBTQ+ youth are 4× more likely to attempt suicide than their peers.

  • Nearly 70% feel unsafe at school (GLSEN, 2023).

  • Affirming educators are one of the strongest protective factors in reducing suicide risk (The Trevor Project).

In our District 13 pilot (Spring 2025):

  • 94% of teachers felt more confident advocating for LGBTQ+ students.

  • 96% implemented new inclusive practices in their classrooms.

  • Participants called the program “liberating,” “transformational,” and “one of the only PDs where I felt fed instead of drained.”

District 13’s leadership remains all-in—and so are we. Together, we can ensure every teacher who wants to join Teach Fabulous! is paid for their time and care.
