Team Hope Story - 2026 TCS New York City Marathon

This fall I’ll be running the New York City Marathon, and every mile I run will be for something deeply personal to me.

I’m running to support Hope Story, an organization that provides no-cost resources to families whose child has been diagnosed with Down syndrome. But what makes this mission so meaningful to me is the story behind it.  When I first heard how Hope Story began, it hit me in a way I can’t really describe. It started with Noah’s story, a story that could have been filled with uncertainty and fear, but instead became something powerful. Noah’s story has created chapter after chapter of hope, not just for one family, but for countless families across the country.  Because of Noah, parents receiving a Down syndrome diagnosis today can receive encouragement, resources, and the reassurance that they are not alone. What began as one family’s story has grown into something that is now changing how diagnoses are delivered and how families begin their journey — with hope instead of fear.

That’s why this marathon is personal for me.

Running 26.2 miles through New York City will be a challenge, but knowing that every step can help create more hope for families makes every mile worth it.
