Team Hope Story - 2026 TCS New York City Marathon

I am a teacher who began my career serving in low-income schools, an experience that forever shaped my heart and perspective. I have walked closely with children and families navigating unexpected diagnoses, hardship, and seasons of uncertainty. Through those experiences, I have seen firsthand how powerful encouragement and the right support can be in life-changing moments.

When I learned about Hope Story, I immediately felt drawn to its mission. The way this organization supports and uplifts parents receiving a Down syndrome diagnosis reflects the compassion, dignity, and hope every family deserves. I believe deeply that every child is uniquely created with purpose and immeasurable value, and that families should feel empowered, not fearful, when welcoming their child into the world.

As someone who has dedicated my life to loving and advocating for children, it is an honor to combine my passion for running with meaningful fundraising for Hope Story. I want to help ensure that when a family receives a diagnosis, the first message they encounter is one of encouragement, support, and hope.
