Team Hope Story - 2026 TCS New York City Marathon

Hello and welcome to our fundraising page for Hope Story.

We are raising funds for Hope Story Inc. in honor of our daughter, Luna, and in gratitude for the incredible support this organization provides to families navigating a Down syndrome diagnosis.

When we first learned that Luna had Down syndrome, we were overwhelmed with uncertainty. We didn’t know what her future would look like, what challenges we might face, or how our lives would change. Like many parents receiving a diagnosis, we had questions, fears, and emotions we were trying to process all at once.

Hope Story — and Rick in particular — became one of the very first sources of encouragement and guidance for our family. They helped us see beyond the fear and into the beauty, hope, and joy that our daughter would bring into this world. Through their support, we learned how to better advocate for Luna, celebrate her uniqueness, and embrace this journey with love and confidence.

Today, Luna is 7½ months old and absolutely thriving. She has brought immeasurable joy, love, strength, and inspiration into our lives and to everyone who meets her. Looking back now, and thinking ahead to her future, we can honestly say we would not change a single thing about her — not even one chromosome. She is perfect exactly as she is, and we are endlessly grateful to be her parents.

Hope Story continues to impact families around the world by providing resources, education, encouragement, and community support for individuals with Down syndrome of all ages. Organizations like this remind families that they are never alone.
