Most of you know Laura's brother, Michael, has a special place in my heart and life. He allows us to see life through a purer lens and to see what really matters. What a gift he has been to us and all who have met him! My in-laws were not initially supported well, educationally and medically, when he was born. Hope Story seeks to do exactly that by educating and supporting medical professionals and families today. And "Hope" is my encouragement to these families as well. Life may be more difficult, but there is Hope! You will be blessed by your child more than you know. Although I've started running more recently these last couple of years, my desire is to do so in a way of giving back. I will be running the New York City Marathon with Team Hope Story in order to raise money for these families. Please consider donating to this great organization.

Oh, how we miss watching Michael run down the street or come over to our house for a hug. Michael’s favorite activity was walking or running through our neighborhood with his loving parents.
