Goal

Hello friends!  Last summer, I kind of became a runner.  I have never really enjoyed running but through some friends (who are actually runners) talking about doing a race together, I jumped in, did some training and reached my goal of finishing a half-marathon last December.  After that, I sort of got 'the bug' and set a new goal for this year to run a full marathon.  Around that time, a friend of mine named Rick Smith and I reconnected and he told me that his non-profit partners with runners to help raise awareness and financial support through races.  In 2018, he and his wife Abbie started a non-profit called Hope Story that provides resources, support, and hope to families whose child has received a Down Syndrome diagnosis.  They also aim to come along side medical providers with resources and training to help families understand all the options available to them.

So on November 3, 2024, I'm planning to run the New York City Marathon on behalf of Hope Story and I need your help.  My goal is to reach $5000!  Will you please consider joining my team to raise awareness and needed funds for this amazing non-profit?
