NYC-DSA Local Dues Drive 2020-2021

This moment requires a bold alternative to establishment intransigence and greed. On an election night full of uncertainty, across the country, contests backed by the Democratic Socialists of America won out. From raising the minimum wage, legalizing marijuana and decriminalizing drug use, funding education at the expense of the wealthy, and electing open socialists at every level of government, the Left is winning our case for a world order built on equitable distribution, feminism, racial equality, and a dignified life for all.

Here in New York City, DSA has stood in solidarity with frontline workers; marched for Black Lives and against police brutality; delivered food and medicine to our neighbors; and sent five socialist state legislators to Albany. With a state budget fight and City Council elections on the horizon, it’s more important than ever to join our fight to guarantee housing and healthcare as a human right, win a Green New Deal, and return power to working-class New Yorkers.
