Although I never personally had to deal with homelessness, I know how important of an issue it is, and how much it impacts many. I feel like this will enlighten me to what homeless people suffer on a daily basis, and inspire me to care more and give more of my time to things that help them.

Did you know that in Monmouth County approximately 200 children are homeless on any given night? Every year in America, over 3 million children experience homelessness.

Night Without A Bed is an opportunity for Monmouth County youth to learn about the plight of families and children experiencing homelessness. In addition to raising awareness, Night Without A Bed raises essential funds to support programs that provide food, clothing, emergency shelter, comprehensive case management, transportation, life skills training, and prevention/stabilization for our families. Participants are asked to sleep in a box for one night and raise pledges of at least $150 for the cause.
