2025 NSOF ATHLETE AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

The Navy Special Operations Foundation (NSOF) Athlete Ambassador Program showcases the dedication and drive of athletes who compete in extraordinary events to raise funds for Navy Special Operations families.

These incredible ambassadors represent the resilience and spirit of the Navy Special Operations community by pushing their limits in Ironman triathlons, cycling challenges, mountain biking races, and other endurance events. Through their efforts, they raise vital funds to support NSOF programs that provide critical resources, create meaningful experiences, and honor the service and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes.

Meet Athlete Ambassador: Jake Legge

Jake Legge is a U.S. Navy veteran and Deep Sea Diver with eight years of service. His career included a nine-month deployment to the Middle East, where he performed anti-terrorism and force protection diving operations. He also spent four years leading research, development, testing, and evaluation dives for advanced underwater technologies and weaponry before they were deployed to the fleet.

Jake’s athletic journey spans both traditional and extreme sports:

🏁 Motocross champion with multiple race wins
🚵‍♂️ Successful amateur mountain bike racer
🌊 Prone paddleboarder—qualified for the 2025 Catalina Classic
Grew up playing baseball, soccer, and surfing

What’s next?

🔹 Catalina Classic Prone Paddleboard Race – August 24, 2025

This race is dedicated #4Joel

For Jake, fundraising for NSOF is about giving back:

“I want to give back to the community who has always had my back since I became a diver. I’m also doing this to support the families of those who have lost fellow Divers and EOD techs, and those that are going through hard times.”

Join us in supporting Jake and the NSOF Athlete Ambassador Program. Together, we can strengthen and empower Navy Special Operations families.
