I so clearly remember how I wrote it a few years ago, actually just for myself, and then when it was published in Germany, I thought at first: 

"What are you doing, Déborah? Everyone will know your deepest thoughts and feelings." 

Looking back today, I realize that God used my story in a way that couldn't be more wonderful! Many women—and also men—have found their true identities and have been freed from eating disorders or other life-controlling issues through reading this book! All glory to God! 

I remember visiting and sharing my story with one girl who was lying in the hospital. The doctors had given her only 3-4 more days to live. Today, years later, not only is she still alive, but she's living the life God always wanted her to live: a life of FREEDOM!
