Nova Ukraine Charity Run for Ukrainian Independence

On August 24th, thirty-one years ago, Ukraine became an independent country. Now, all Ukrainians bravely fight for independence and their future.

On August 24, 2022, the Nova Ukraine Running Team members will run a relay of 24 one-mile loops in Crissy Field, San Francisco, USA from 4:30PM to 8:00PM and will stream live footage along the way! The team is led by Oleksandr Skorokhod, a scientist and a public advocate of science, innovations, and a healthy lifestyle, vice-champion of Ukraine in trail running (2021), a member of the national trail running team of Ukraine.

This new Nova Ukraine athletic fundraising initiative is to help support Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees. All money raised will go to humanitarian aid, including securing critical medical supplies, food delivery and assistance to displaced families.
