A legacy of love, kindness and compassion!

Elizabeth (Liz) Mansfield wasn’t someone who made a fuss. She didn’t seek the spotlight or ask for thanks. But for those who knew her — and even for many who didn’t — she was the kind of person who made the world a gentler, kinder place.

Liz had a heart for people and her community. She couldn't walk past someone doing it tough without stopping to help. Whether it was buying a copy of The Big Issue, giving loose change for a warm drink, or popping into M&S to buy socks and shoes for someone she had just passed — Liz always gave. Always. Not for recognition, but because it was simply in her nature.

Over the past few years, Liz became a quiet supporter of Bridge Builders, the organisation her daughter Kelly manages to support families and children facing homelessness and hardship. She donated food and clothing, gave generously to programs like their Gift of Christmas campaign, and believed deeply in the importance of helping others — especially those often overlooked.

Kelly often shares, “Mum couldn’t walk past someone in need. She would always do something — big or small — to make sure they felt seen and cared for. That’s who she was.”

And while Liz truly loved her flowers, those who knew her best will know she would want her memory to do something more — something that makes a difference.

In honour of Liz’s giving heart and her lifelong compassion for others, donations can be made to Bridge Builders in lieu of flowers. Every gift will go toward continuing the work she quietly supported — bringing food, hope, and dignity to children and families who need it most.

💛 She gave with love, lived with kindness, and leaves behind a legacy that will continue to bloom — not just in flowers, but in every life touched through your generosity.

Forever missed. Forever loved. Never Forgotten
