Project Not Alone 2023 feeds and frees imprisoned victims of homophobia

Project Not Alone raises money to pay fines, provide attorneys working pro-bono and deliver supplementary food for LGBTQ prisoners in Cameroon and Nigeria who are serving time solely for whom they love -- specifically for violating the nations' anti-homosexuality laws. Without the food deliveries, they risk malnutrition because they receive only one scanty meal per day and get no help from their families, who have disowned them. After their fines are paid, Cameroonian prisoners are eligible for early release.

Donations to the project are tax-deductible through the St. Paul's Foundation for International Reconciliation, a 501 (c) 3 U.S charity (California 80-0647355) working to advance LGBTQ equality and acceptance, especially in Africa and the Caribbean, through media advocacy.
