North Star Community Baby Shower

On April 12th, 2025 from 1pm-4pm we are hosting our 3rd annual Community Baby Shower at the Cadillac Room in Lansing. The Community Baby Shower is an opportunity to engage with BIPOC parents in the community who are most at risk for poor health outcomes in maternal and infant health. Our event will link families with education and resources to ensure they thrive in pregnancy and after birth. Participants will have access to resources like health screenings, chair massages, financial literacy , and support groups.

North Star Birthing Services puts the health, well-being, and needs of birthing persons first. We provide evidence-based education, physical support, emotional support, and encouragement for self advocacy through birth and postpartum services. We actively work to make our services available to anyone regardless of financial barriers.  We service clients in the greater Lansing, MI area and up to an 30 mile radius.
