Joseph dreams of one day owning and operating his own trucking company in his home state of California. Before he takes on that challenge, we introduced him to Andrew, the VP of Safety and Training at a Pittsburgh-based company. Andrew has been a great mentor for Joseph as he shares the pros and cons of potentially starting his own business. They talk about the current trends of the industry and how Joseph can pursue this dream of his. Soon, Joseph is going to meet with a guest mentor who has owned his own company to decide if this is something he would like to pursue or if he’d be happier in an executive role at an established company like Andrew. Regardless of what he chooses, Andrew has grown in his knowledge of the field through his year-long mentorship in Connecting Champions.
