Sam is a college baseball player whose love for the game goes beyond the box score. He is extremely interested in the advanced statistics of the game and predicting outcomes based on the data. That’s why his mentor, Chris, is a perfect match. A former MLB analyst, Chris now works in a variety of sports processing data and creating models to give teams a competitive advantage. In their most recent call, Sam showed Chris the model that he created based off of one he found on Chris’s company’s website. This particular model predicts who will win the Premier League based on statistics that Sam dug up. His future is definitely bright, especially with Chris as a guide.
