As an already well known drummer, Noah came into our program asking to meet with someone who had experience and wisdom to share in the world of drumming and music production, as well as someone who could speak to the “life on tour.” As the drummer for Mary J. Blige and the band for American Idol, Rex was the perfect match! Rex and Noah have talked extensively about various practicing techniques, the best drumming equipment to have, and how to balance school/life with pursuing a career in drumming.
