Michael came to Connecting Champions wanting to explore the world of TV producing, specifically the local news. Michael meets with his mentor Meredith, who is the director of News 5 in Cleveland. Michael and Meredith meet to get a behind the scenes look of the local news, weather, local contests such as the Academic Challenge. Meredith gives Michael homework to complete outside of calls and they share the updates together when they meet.
