Children Under the Age of 16

Our Website and Services are not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 16 or permit individuals under 16 to create an account or use our Services.

Controller vs. Processor Roles

For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, Donorbox acts in dual capacities:

  • Data Processor: When we process donor information on behalf of non-profit organizations using our platform, we act as a Data Processor (or Service Provider), and the non-profit organization acts as the Data Controller.
  • Data Controller: When we collect information directly from organization account holders who register to use our services, or from visitors to our Website, we act as a Data Controller.

Categories of Personal Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Identifiers: name, email address, IP address, account credentials
  • Commercial Information: transaction and billing details
  • Internet Activity: browsing history, clickstream data, interactions with our Website
