The mission of So All May Eat / SAME is Creating Community Through Healthy Food Access. Just as SAME spells out, we do this work So All May Eat. Everyone needs to eat, and everyone deserves access to healthy food. The SAME model works to build community around our shared love of food and helping each other out. We accomplish this by embodying the SAME Values in all the work that we do. 

At SAME Café, everyone participates in exchange for their meal!

So All May Eat / SAME Cafés operate with a Participation Model where guests volunteer time, donate money, or give produce in exchange for a healthy, locally sourced, made from scratch meal. The Participation Model is unique in that every guest can give from their abundance of time, money, or produce to participate in the mission of SAME Cafés: to create community through healthy food access. In this way, everyone can give back to their community through meaningful participation!

In 2023, SAME Café Denver served 20,720 meals and provided 696 people with 5,945 hours of job training through Cook to Work!
