New Lancaster Center Construction Project

PDHC is undergoing the relocation of our Lancaster Center. Currently, we are located adjacent to one of the city’s fire stations and they need to expand their facility. In a win-win situation, the city will be purchasing our property and we will locate to a facility that better suits the needs of our center with a single story layout and a better location, giving us the opportunity to serve more women and families.

The lease space we found  is in a highly visible location and is currently an open shell which will require a build out of the space. This will include 10 rooms: a lobby/reception area, office for greeters and volunteers, parenting classroom, baby and maternity boutique, two consulting rooms, ultrasound room and nurses office, bathroom, and kitchenette area. We are excited about this growth opportunity. 

Our Lancaster Center serves individuals in Franklin, Fairfield, Hocking, Licking, Madison, Perry, and Pickaway counties. There is no other pregnancy center located in the area.  

Architectural plans have been drawn and submitted for permit and we hope to begin the construction process in the next month to be completed in the fall. Thanks to a wonderful church partner, Grace Fellowship, we are well on our way to securing funding for this construction project, which is estimated at about $115,000.
