The Catcade's New Building

The Catcade bought a building!

Over 2,500 cats are alive because of The Catcade. Our current space has been a wonderful sanctuary for these rescued cats and kittens. While we are thankful for the opportunities it has provided, we have determined it has served its purpose.

So we bought a building. 

Join our Mission

Our mission is to provide a second chance to the abandoned and neglected cats and kittens from county intake shelters. We’ve dreamed of a larger facility where we can provide even more care and support and give them the opportunity to find their forever home. That dream is becoming a reality with this purchase. And if you have ever wondered how you could help make a difference for the abandoned cats and kittens of the world, well this is where we need your support.

The Need

Currently, our existing facility is working tirelessly to accommodate the ever-growing population of rescued cats and guests. However, we are limited in our resources and capacity to provide the ongoing needs of our mission. We’ve reached a turning point where we must expand and create a modern, spacious haven to keep up with the increasing need.

The Solution

We need to raise funds for the construction phase of this new facility. The $300,000 goal we have set is to cover the initial build out expenses. We currently have taken out a loan for the property so anything raised beyond our initial goal will help pay down this loan quicker so we can put more of our funding towards saving cats. This building is set to have a lounge that is 50% larger than our current space. It will have something that we are missing in our current space - an entire backside with a treatment room that will allow us to do intakes easily and eventually do spay and neuter surgeries onsite. It will also have a separate isolation area with six private rooms for sick cats. Every square inch of the new building has been thought out because the more we can put into this the more cats we can save from fading away in a shelter cage. The entire build-out will be constructed with the sole purpose of doubling our current rescue efforts. Only with your help can we create an environment that truly enhances their chances of finding loving homes.
