Introducing the Nevart Euzian Memorial Fund

At Kooyrigs, we believe in community care and honoring the women who shaped us. That’s why we’re launching the Nevart Euzian Memorial Fund, a community-driven initiative to ensure that women in rural Armenia have access to life-saving cancer screenings, early detection, and essential healthcare.

In Armenia, preventative healthcare remains out of reach for too many due to factors like age, location, welfare score, and policies. 

While the programming for this fund is still being developed, the fund itself will exist and accept donations to ensure that once the structure is in place, women in Armenia can receive the care they need. This fund will work to cover:

✨ Fully covered cancer screenings, tests and procedures for women, including the BRCA1/2 testing and preventative mastectomies, which are not covered by any public health service. 

✨ Access to medicine, assistive devices, and medical supplies.

✨ Transportation to and from medical appointments, ensuring access to a broader network of specialists and advanced healthcare facilities in major cities.

✨ Patient accompaniment and advocacy, because no woman should have to navigate complicated logistics, welfare restrictions, and emotional burdens alone.

Named in honor of Nevart Euzian and all of our matriarchs, this fund is about more than healthcare- it’s about dignity, access, and ensuring no woman has to delay or forgo care due to financial barriers, geography, or lack of support.
