The Lost Gonzo Bird Team

Larry and Martha Neel have been participating in the Nevada Birdathon intermittently since 1992. Larry is a founding board member of the Great Basin Bird Observatory. One iteration of the Lost Gonzo Bird Team set the Nevada Birdathon record at 144 species in 1997 and held it for several years after. These years Larry and Martha just make a day out of it sticking to the Lahontan Valley area and make a donation to the Observatory for the honor of getting to participate.
