Native Plant Signs

Want to be part of the effort to increase biodiversity in metro New Orleans?

Our native plant ID signs help you turn your native garden into an educational stopping place for passers-by. Signs feature the common and scientific names of each plant, a photo of its bloom or other highlight, and a QR code so anyone can learn more. 

Follow these steps to order signs:

1. Decide which signs you want. The complete list is below, and expanding all the time. Note that 20 plants have been printed on durable magnets, while the remainder are on laminated cards.
2. Decide what you'll donate. Signs cost approximately $9 to produce and your donation helps offset the cost. Donating more than the cost of your signs pays it forward for others!
3. After donating, you'll be redirected to a Google Form to place your sign preorder.
4. Once you fill out the form, we'll be in touch when your signs are ready for you to pick them up.

Your donation helps us with the cost of producing these signs. It goes directly to this communitywide education project, to make every native garden a place to pause, appreciate, and learn about our incredible ecosystem.
