Nanak’s Kitchen is a food distribution program centered at Guru Ram Das Ashram and Gurdwara in Millis, Massachusetts. Nanak’s kitchen grew out of the Sikh tradition of serving Langar, the weekly vegetarian meals that follows their Gurdwara service; we seek to broaden this tradition by providing wholesome, organic and natural vegan and vegetarian food to the food insecure men, women and children in the Millis and Greater Norfolk county community.  Beginning as a bi-monthly bagged organic and natural food distribution program, Nanak’s Kitchen plans to incrementally build upon this program by partnering with the Greater Boston Food Bank for food procurement and to add weekly delivery of vegetarian meals cooked and packaged on property.
