Salute Your Hero
Thank you for supporting NAC Military Programs!
For more than 30 years, the NAC has served the military community through individual lessons, family camps and retreats and adventure programs. With over 1,500 military participants annually, this audience is a critical part of the heartbeat of the adaptive mission and is one of the largest populations served at the NAC.
The safety of our community, staff, volunteers, and participants is of the utmost importance to us at the National Ability Center. To keep everyone safe and healthy, we will be Saluting Our Heroes with a Field of Flags and honorary walk in Park City, UT in lieu of an indoor event. Join us to honor the men and women who have served our country, while building awareness of the needs of returning service members. The Field of Flags will feature more than 150 American flags arranged in front of Miners Hospital in Park City, as a display of gratitude. This show of military appreciation will run from Monday, November 8th until Monday, November 15th in addition to the Field of Flags Ceremony.
On Wednesday, November 10th we will celebrate Veterans Day and show gratitude for our nation’s brave veterans and active military personnel with a Field of Flags Ceremony and honorary walk. You can honor your own hero at the Field of Flags by writing your hero's name on a blank flag provided for an optional donation and place it in the field. After the Field of Flags ceremony and words from the National Ability Center and our guest speaker we will walk around City Park to honor the military community. Fuel up before the honorary walk with coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts,
