Nissa's nabs Kili Climb 2023!

Hello Friends, Relatives, and Colleagues,

I have been contemplating the idea of 'conquering Kilimanjaro' for some time now, and the recent pandemic has served as a poignant reminder that life is too short to put our dreams on hold. 

The cliché has become a powerful truth that has spurred me to action. So, I have decided to take on this challenge and make my dream a reality in 2023.

As we are now out of lockdown (and while I still have the knees to do this), I decided this will be my year. When Louise & Mark from nabs reached out to The AdClub of Toronto to see if any board members would like to represent on the Kili Climb on October 2023 as part of nabs' 40th Anniversary, I raised my hand without hesitation. It will be an honour for me to also represent Mindshare and GroupM Canada in this fundraising adventure. 

I will be setting off for Tanzania as Climber #2 with the nabs Kilimanjaro crew on October 16th, and with some luck (and altitude sickness allowing!) I should reach the summit of Kilimanjaro sometime on October 26th. 

I have been in rigorous training since November 2022 in the gym, and grabbing stamina building hikes when I can. I will greatly appreciate your support and sponsorship no matter large or small.

After 40 years, you would think nabs would be tired of all the mountain climbing.  On the contrary, we are just beginning.  Our passion for the industry and our community knows no bounds and now we have recruited 20 climbers from every market we serve in Canada, to climb WITH US, and raise the funds needed to sustain and build the next best version of nabs.  Here’s to nabs next 40!
