Your ImPACT, Our Future

I'm Connor Stone, the Development Associate at PACT (Protect All Children from Trafficking). If you found this page, then chances are you follow me on social media. I like to think that means you enjoy my sense of humor, but in reality you probably do it for the pictures of my cats. That's fair. They're very good cats.

PACT is the leading anti-child trafficking organization in the United States seeking to end child sexual exploitation and trafficking through education, partnerships, and legislative advocacy. Here's some bullet points to give you a better idea of how PACT functions, because I love a good list:

What we don't do:

• We don't sensationalize child trafficking to create fearmongering that foreigners are traveling here to kidnap your children. Taken was not a documentary.
• We don't exploit trafficking Survivors to promote political agendas that are in no way related to child trafficking.
• We don't accuse random pizza shops of hiding children in their basement. Especially the ones that don't even have a basement.

What we do:

• We recognize that the most vulnerable among us are more susceptible to trafficking. This includes LGBTQ+ youths, unhoused individuals, and immigrants.
• We hold workshops for parents and youths, where our fully bilingual education team helps families learn how children can protect themselves both online and in their daily lives.
• We conduct trainings in the hospitality and travel industry to teach workers how to identify warning signs of trafficking.
• We work with our Survivors Council to advocate for positive political changes that will benefit survivors of trafficking and prevent these crimes from occurring in the future.

PACT is a wonderful organization staffed by passionate, dedicated people who work tirelessly to make a positive impact in the world. I have no idea why they let me work here.
