Goal

Our $80,000+ critical solar infrastructure upgrade equips 6 off-grid community hubs across Kasungu with high-capacity 12kW hybrid inverters, solar panels, and lithium battery storage banks

By replacing unreliable systems with stable, clean energy, we are creating the essential groundwork for community innovation, education, and economic growth.

Why This Upgrade Matters:

  • Unlocking Reliable Power & Connectivity: Replaces persistent power blackouts with 24/7 solar energy and Wi-Fi, ensuring local inventors, students, and fellows have illuminated spaces, functional computer labs, and reliable water pumping for community programs.

  • Championing Women in STEM: Led and maintained by our trained women technicians, these installations directly challenge local gender stereotypes and prove what is possible when young women lead green energy infrastructure.

  • Building Future-Ready Green Infrastructure: Eliminates dependence on expensive, polluting fossil-fuel generators while laying the foundation for a localized clean-energy and e-mobility charging network in rural Kasungu.

  • Hands-On STEM Education & Hub Clubs: Transforms every installation into an interactive learning lab, where youth engage directly with practical solar technology, IoT remote monitoring, and sustainable engineering.
