Mummy and me just smile
Some families can't get to mainly music or mainly play groups. That's because they live in jail, in a residential facility where there are restrictions, or purely because the money runs out. Gratefully, centres offering services to families experiencing vulnerability invite mainly music or mainly play to contribute to the development of the children, the engagement of mum and child in a loving and nurturing activity, and in the encouragement of mum. The sessions, presented by a trained Session Facilitator, are an experience of attachment, that deep need in everyone providing a secure start to life and creating lifelong resilience skills.
Amazing to think a simple, uncluttered session of music, rhyme and activity or story, craft and music would have such a powerful effect on the lives of both children and their mothers.
But this can only be made possible through generosity from people like you.
