MTS Giving Tuesday 2022

Lights go up onstage and our humble black box is transformed—into a New York City barrio, a small-town funeral parlor, the belfry of Notre Dame. It's magic that Musical Theatre Southwest (MTS) has been performing in Albuquerque for over 60 years.

It may surprise you to know that maintaining a building, insurance, and utilities for our company can cost $8,000 monthly; an amount that a non-profit can’t raise from ticket sales alone!

Your contribution is tax-deductible, and your ongoing support ensures consistent cash flow is available for our organization’s operational costs. Do you own a business, or know of a business that is looking for a non-profit to support? MTS offers an excellent opportunity for community outreach that also shows your commitment to the arts. 

Our “circles of giving” offer a variety of options: Emerald (under $100), Sapphire ($100 - $249), Ruby ($250 - $499), Diamond ($500 - $999), Bronze Circle ($1,000 - $2,499), Gold Circle ($5,000 - $9,999), and Platinum Circle ($10,000 and above). A gift in any amount helps, and your name will be in the program to each show MTS performs for an entire year. 

In these challenging times, the opportunity to care for one another takes on new meaning. And, the opportunity to provide entertainment that also makes audiences think, and grow, and come away with a greater appreciation for their city and its talented performers is a gift that MTS is continually proud to give to Albuquerque.
