I WANT TO HELP BALI ANIMALS

🐾 Our Bali Journey: Turning Grief into Love for the Street Animals

When Neil (my Ozzie husband) and I moved to Bali to find sun and relaxation in retirement, we never expected our lives to change so profoundly. Dealing with the painful grief of losing our treasured soul, Roxy, we quickly found therapy in a new mission: helping the desperate street dogs and cats around us.

Our days transformed. They became filled with purpose, gaining the trust of fearful street dogs, offering food and cuddles in different areas, and simply letting them feel loved for a few moments.

From Heartbreak to Hope: The Story of Tiga

Then came our first true rescue. It was heartbreaking. We stopped to remove what we thought was a dead dog from the road, but this tiny puppy was still clinging to life, barely. Her incredible story led her to a local rescue centre, and Tiga is now thriving and living her best life.

Tiga opened our eyes and our hearts. Suddenly, we saw the abandoned puppies, the Mumma dogs left behind, and the kittens dumped in plastic bags. Each sight brought heartbreak, but every rescue brought immense happiness, knowing that another life finally felt safe and loved.

The Problem: A King's Ransom for a Cause

We started fostering (in a non-suitable, but functional, home!) and successfully found forever families for our rescues. However, the costs for emergency vet visits, quality food, and essential medical procedures quickly grew. We found ourselves spending a king's ransom and joked about using the kids' inheritance!

We simply need help to keep going.

Joining Forces with Mission Paws'ible

To make our work sustainable and more impactful, we've teamed up with the amazing organisation, Mission Paws'ible. This partnership provides us with crucial financial support for the "Big stuff," like surgeries and complex medical care, and more importantly, the support needed to find loving forever homes for these precious fur babies.

We dream of a future where cruelty to animals ends and where people who care can make a real difference when it matters. Help put

unethical breeders out of business and make sure the majestic native Bali and Kintamani dogs continue the Balinese bloodline.

Will you join us in this mission?

Your small one-off or monthly donation will directly fund vet bills, sterilisation programs and safe transport for animals in our care. We promise to continue saving as many lives as we possibly can, turning heartbreak into happy endings, one paw at a time.

Thank you for helping us help Bali's animals.
