Goal

HELP Kara, Sabby, Cico & Coklat fight TVT in Bali

I have always believed that animals who are suffering deserve a chance to live without pain, regardless of whether they have an owner or someone to care for them. Through my independent rescue efforts in Bali, I have helped stray dogs and cats receive medical attention, including dogs with TVT.

I am asking for your help for four dogs in the Uluwatu area of Bali: Kara, Sabby, Cico, and Coklat. All four have been diagnosed with TVT (Transmissible Venereal Tumour), a contagious cancer in dogs that requires veterinary treatment, including multiple rounds of chemotherapy.

Kara is a stray dog who was found near a pile of construction wood in the Pandawa area. After a construction worker contacted me about her condition, I learned that she had a large, bleeding tumour around her vaginal area. With no identifiable owner to take responsibility for her medical care, I could not leave her to suffer. Kara was taken to InuNeko Veterinary Clinic, where she is now receiving chemotherapy.

Sabby had a large, bleeding tumour while still nursing her six puppies, who were only five weeks old when this rescue began. Cico and Coklat also have TVT tumours affecting their penises. Seeing them suffering without access to the treatment they needed was heartbreaking, so I stepped in to help arrange their veterinary care.

All three dogs have now been taken to InuNeko Veterinary Clinic for chemotherapy. Sadly, Sabby's puppies have had to be temporarily separated from their mother while she undergoes treatment. They are currently in temporary foster care and being fed formula milk.

Why your support matters

Treating 4 dogs with TVT involves more than a single medical treatment. They need chemotherapy, medication, monitoring, proper nutrition, and follow-up care. Sterilisation is also planned as part of their ongoing care.

The estimated treatment cost for all four dogs is Rp 14,244,950.

I am not a formal rescue organisation. I am an individual doing what I can to help animals in need, but I cannot cover these expenses alone. Your donation will help pay for their veterinary bills and give these four dogs a genuine chance to recover. Support will also help provide essential care for Sabby's six puppies while they are being fostered.

Once the dogs have completed treatment and are medically cleared, I hope to find the safest and most suitable future for each of them.

For me, rescue does not end when an animal reaches a veterinary clinic. It means staying committed until they have received the care they need and have a safe future ahead of them.

I could not turn away from these four dogs when they were suffering, but I cannot do this alone.

Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. If you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign would also mean so much to us.

Thank you for helping Kara, Sabby, Cico, and Coklat get the treatment they deserve and for giving them hope for a healthier, happier life. ❤️
