Hey! We - Amy and Paul – are documentary photographers, videographers, and activists who founded Moving Animals to raise awareness of animal suffering.
For the last year and a half, we’ve been working on the ground to document everything from slaughter auctions in the UK, to elephant performances in Thailand.
We combine storytelling, journalism, photography, and film, to reach millions of people across the globe, helping to inspire and create change for animals, and we’ve now launched our own in-house campaigns to push for change across the world.
Undercover investigations: since starting in 2018, Moving Animals have investigated and documented animal suffering in over 80 different locations across six different countries, covering everything from wildlife tourism to factory farming.
Media activism for animals: using our visuals and combining them with video edits, research, and storytelling, we pitch stories for change in the biggest media platforms in the world, from prestigious publications like The Guardian, The Independent and Channel News Asia, to popular news sites like Mail Online, Fox News and People Magazine. Our media reach is international, with global giants including China’s Sohu .com, France’s Brut, and Cambodia’s Koh Santepheap among those who have translated our stories to audiences worldwide.
All of our visuals are free-to-use, creating an archive of over 500 photographs and hours of footage for organisations, individuals, and media platforms. Our footage has received over 10 million views, and has been published by the likes of UNILAD, Power of Positivity, and Brut.
Why we need your support:
Just over one year ago, we began this project using our own savings, and have since reached millions and millions of people through our photography, footage, and news-stories.
Now, in order to continue the project and make our work sustainable, we need to raise $1,300 a month so that we can carry on producing content that raises awareness of animal suffering and helps create change to make the world a kinder place for animals.
