My partner and I have been volunteering with Samos Volunteers for the last few months. We finished our placements last week, but will finish our time on Samos by taking part in Move For Social Justice.

On 20th February, Samos Volunteers are turning 'International Day Of Social Justice' into 'Week Of Social Justice'. During this week we will Move for Social Justice.

WHY?

To raise money for the important work done by Samos Volunteers, who provide support to displaced people on Samos. At the moment, this takes the form of a community centre, language lessons, recreational activities and clothing distribution.

HOW?

We are going to either walk, run or roll 1.7 km or 6 km, the shortest and longest straight distances between Turkey and Samos. I will run 6km, along with some other SV volunteers on Saturday 25th February.
