10th Separate Mountain Brigade "Edelweiss" (108th and 109th Battalions)

The legendary 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade "Edelweiss"

As specialized Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, specifically trained for mountain warfare operations, the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade "Edelweiss" has been an instrumental part of the defense of Ukraine and Eastern Europe since its formation.

While the legendary brigade is most commonly recognized around the world as the recipients of the awards presented during President Zelenskys now world famous speech on the frontlines of Bakhmut for its efforts in Mariupol and Bakhmut, the brigade also has been recognized on many occasions for the heroism and dedication that they have shown in defending not only Ukraine, but also Eastern Europe since its formation in 2015. 

Fun Fact: The formation of the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade "Edelweiss" was driven by the need to protect Northern Bukovina (historical region in Eastern Europe located on the northern slopes of the central Eastern Carpathian Mountains). It is in the beautiful Carpathian mountains of Bukovina where the scarce and beautiful Edelweiss flower grows. While the Edelweiss flower often referred to as “The star of the Carpathians” is recognized as a national symbol of Romania, Austria, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Switzerland, it is most commonly recognized today as the symbol worn on the shoulders of the Defenders of the Brigade that proudly shares its name.

While we would love to be able to support the whole Edelweiss brigade, the focus of this specific fundraiser is to help support two of the battalions within the renowned Brigade which are active as an instrumental and ground breaking part of todays defense of the Eastern front line. Namely, the 108th and the 109th Battalions of the 10th Separate Mountain Brigade.  

With a fundraising target of $40,000 & adding a number of items from our stock we want to provide for two battalions within the brigade with the following items:

• Anti-Drone Jammers

• FPV and Surveillance Drones

• Tactical Equipment

• Ecoflows / Generators
