Meet our Families-

Millie and Libby were two of our first rescues back in 2018. Libby was born in a petting zoo. Once Libby started to grow into an adult and wasn’t a cute little baby any longer, Millie and Libby were sent to a slaughter auction. Luckily, we were there that night and brought Mille and her daughter Libby back to FFAS. Libby went through some kind of trauma while living at the petting zoo. She does not like interactions with humans. She has been here for several years and is still unapproachable. 

Carmel and Zoe were rescued right after Zoe was born. We were notified by a good sumaritan that a farmer was sending them both to be slaughtered.  Carmel had a deformed teat and would not be a profitable mother goat for future babies. So she would be discarded along with her new baby. 

Porketta, Pippa and Poppit - Porketta arrived here at the sanctuary already pregnant. She gave birth to five babies. Unfortunately, three of them did not survive. We helped the two surviving babies by supplementing with feeding them bottles of kitten milk to help them gain strength. 

While all of these babies are grown now, the families remain united by love.
