Why Springfield Needs Mosaic Partnerships.

The tragic deaths of Sonya Massey and Earl Moore, Jr., and the harm done to Gregory Small, Jr., have shaken Sangamon County to its moral core. These were moments when help was sought — and harm was returned. We cannot ignore the fractures between neighbors, communities, and public institutions.

Springfield is a diverse community with growing racial, ethnic, and cultural representation, but also faces ongoing challenges with racial prejudice, systemic inequality, and social fragmentation.
