Morocco Earthquake Relief 2023

The Prophet ﷺ , said: 

“Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.” (Al-Tirmidhi)

The deadliest Earthquake since 1960 has found it's way to Morocco.  It's magnitudes of 6.8 with it's epicenter just 45 miles southwest of Marrakech, a city with a population of 840,000 people, near the Atlas Mountains  Although smaller, aftershock continues to occur regularly.

Remote villages are yet to receive any aid or help, not even anyone to pull dead family members from under the rubble. Many of the villages at the foothill of the mountains are isolated and difficult to access.  

IAC is working diligently to get teams in place to deliver aid as soon as possible to these displaced, exhausted, hurt and grieving people.  

Every penny of your sadaqah helps! Remember, charity:

- will be your shade on the Day of Judgement

- increases what Allah  ﷻ grants you
