Moose had to be rescued twice. First, from slaughter. Then, from a neglect case. Now he is forever safe here at Rancho Relaxo. He was born with wry nose. Wry nose is a congenital deformity where the upper jaw and nose are twisted to one side, often causing breathing difficulties and problems with nursing or eating. Treatment options for Moose, as he came to us as an adult, are supportive care when needed and a soft diet. Under our nurturing guardianship, he has been thriving! He is a special guy. He loves attention from humans and horses alike. He is the most confident horse here at the sanctuary -- as he should be!
